How do I go about investing in a couple of shares of google when I do not have a broker?

I would like to invest in a few shares of google Since I do not invest in stocks I do not know how to go about doing this?

Answer:
Sharebuilder.com
The best way to go about investing without a broker would to use an online brokerage. For light investing I would recommend opening an account with sharebuilder.com. You can begin investing with as little as 100 dollars (US). Also, if you are not in a posistion to buy an entire share or two of Google (or any other high-priced share such as Berkshire Hathaway, Google, etc) you can invest a dollar amount and sharebuilder will pool money from other investors to buy an entire share while you still reap the benefits of investing a smaller dollar amount (or losses). I hope this helps you out.
