What do you see as the future of General Motors?

The company does not seem to be doing well. Will it survive?

Answer:
If we can't slow the flow of foreign autos then GM will probably fold some day. It's management, greed and some labor problems that have gotten them into the position they're in.
Its like a extra long ship maybe 1000 yards long it takes forever to turn, but they have a major problem greedy unions which destroy more businesses then anything else. Don't believe research, it you will get a wake up call They do not represent the worker anymore only themselves. Its called greed. Check on Ford same thing. Why does a high school drop out get paid 60,000 plus for putting on hubcaps and get a big pension plus plus. Then after many retire no more money in the pot so all lose Price of auto stays high to pay Bennie's and the unions won't give in til to late. Answers me friends told me they try to do a good job no rejects Union tells them must have rejects to protect the dumb. What kind or organization is that??
GM has a ton of cash. They aren't going out of business.

GM was recently profiled on http://winners-and-losers.com/ and it appears as if there is good value in the stock at these levels.
To refer to General Motors as "Not doing well" must be the understatement of the year. This once mighty company, is sick from incredible mismanagement. But then, all the American automobile companies are very badly managed.

Year after year, while petrol prices, congestion etc, have been rising, they were producing lumbering, gas guzzling leviathans which no one wanted and watched in amazement, the Japanese taking their market.

The only thing their directors did was to give themselves obscenely big pay cheques. Good riddance to incompetent rubbish. But why the share holders did nothing, I shall never be able to fathom.
