If i invest in real estate in china, how easily can i repatriate my profits?

i understand that the Chinese currency, Renminbi, is not freely convertible. does that mean that i would not be able to transfer my Renminbi rental income overseas? what about if i sold the property at a profit in Renminbi? would i be able to convert all the proceeds into foreign currency?

Answer:
If I am correct, you cannot own land in china. You can have a lease of 100 years.
Buy lots of rice and send it back home to sell!
