Can i buy a stock in the after hours or can i only place an order and then it wil be executed in the morning?

Answers:
Yes, you can buy and sell in after-hours *if* your broker supports it for your kind of account. It used to be that only large investors and institutions could do this, but now individual investors can as well.

Your broker may have limits on the use of after-hours such as 'limit orders only' and also restrictions on exactly which times in the after-hours are allowed.

If you're a beginner investor you might want to just place an order to be filled the next day anyway.
