Information on share prices (after 6 months, 1, 2, and 3 years going public) of NASDAQ IPO during 00 – 03?

Hey,

There were about 400 IPO’s (initial public offerings) during year 2000-2003 in NASDAQ. I managed to find the information on the first day but I need to find their share prices after 6 months, 1 year, 2, years and 3 years going public. What is the easiest and less time consuming way to get hold of this information?

I would appreciate if you e-mail me the data if you have or advice me what action to take. Thanks

Answer:
CNBC has a great site for your question. IPO's since may 6 1996.

Essentially, what you're asking is "How do I get historical stock data?" You already have the IPO, their ticker symbol, etc.

Go to Yahoo Finance, and enter the ticker symbol for the first stock, let's say Google. Enter "GOOG"

On the sidebar on the left, click on Historical Prices.

On the Historical Prices page, set the date range, then click on Get Prices

Scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on "Download To Spreadsheet"

Voila, you have prices for your first stock.
