What companies have unrelated diversification?

Answers:
There are several 90's type conglomerates that are deeply discounted for the so called modern phenomenon "conglomerates' discount". A more famous one would be Tyco, which has suffered greatly in the past years for its former CEO's misuse of the company money and etc.

Investors now want these portfolio conglomerates to divest businesses to give back higher valuations for their investors.

Tyco, American Standard, and etc. have all expressed their plans for SBU divestitures.

This will provide you with good event driven investment opportunities.
One of them is BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY INC.
