Is it possible to put my savings in a UK bank to get double the interest?

(Since their money is worth about twice of the American dollar)Are there any better ways to take advantage of this?

Answer:
Doesn't work that way. Its a conversion. Your dollar is going to get you less pounds. The other factor is that you will be paying foreign tax on the interest you earn. So it's not going to benefit you a whole lot unless some bank over there has an incredible interest rate they want to pay you. Most unlikely is my guess.
Depends on how much intrest you are getting now
The UK £ is worth twice as much as the $ but you will only get half the number, so you will not be any better off. What you should look for is the interest rate.
