Is identity theft insurance worth the price?

My rental insurance company is offering idenity theft insurance up to $25,000 in lawyers fees for identity theft etc. I think the price was $40.00 a year. Is it worth it? Has it helped somebody out?

Answers:
Identity theft can be worth the price. It's just like any other insurance really though. This service http://www.getbrokequick.com/identity-th... does some pretty basic stuff for you for 10 bucks a month, but if your identity is ever stolen they will spend up to a million bucks to restore your good name (dealing with your CC, bank, lawyers etc)
Is it a reputable company?
I don't bother with it - it doesn't pay you for your TIME, only the COST involved with duplicating your documents.
