So Does Homeowner's Insurance Cover You When a MLB Player Runs His Plane into Your Home?

Seriously, is that a covered risk?

Answer:
That question should get you banned, and I will report you!! 2 men lost their lives both had families.both were someones husband, father, son and you are totally ignorant for asking such a question. It's hard enough dealing with the loss of a loved one without having to deal with idiots like you.. Remember everything comes full circle, I hope that when you lose a loved one people are as uncompassionate to you!!
No, his insurance on his plane covers it, just like an automobile.
Seriously not funny! Why would you even ask such a question? People are dead, MLB player or not!
TACKY way to ask the question, but there is a serious answer for it.

Aircraft insurance may cover it, and homeowner's insurance should cover the rest. Usually homeowner's insurance covers objects that call from the sky, be they asteroids or broken aircraft. The final decision would come from the policy itself.
Yes, that's a covered risk under a standard (HO-3 form) or broad (HO-2 form) homeowners policy.

Per the other people's comments: The aircraft liability policy would ALSO cover it, and if the homeowners policy paid out (which they WOULD!!), they would then subrogate against the aircraft liability policy.

This is when it's good to have your OWN policy - if there's $5,000,000 of aircraft liability, I'm not sure how much damage was done, but the liability limit will have to be split between ALL the claimants - if you file through your OWN policy, you know you won't get stuck holding the bag for anything except your deductible amount.
yes this would be covered by both a homeowner or a renters policy
