Suffered heart failure. short term disability thru company is up--now what can be done?

Check to see if you have long term disability benefits and if not try Social Security.
If I were you, I would see if there was any way to strengthen my heart. If not, then I would see about applying for SSI disability. And lastly, I would see about vocational rehabilitation. I hope my answer helps, good luck.

do you have a regular disability policy? You can file for SSI but it may take years (it took mine 3 1/2 yrs)
