Can you find out on the internet if someone has E&O insurance?

I need to find out if someone has E&O insurance, but they are out of town. Is there a database I can search that will show if they have it or not?
Very urgent, thanks

Answer:
No, due to privacy laws, you can't find out if they have it. Sorry.

Your best bet is to just go ahead with the lawsuit.
I don't know if you can find that info on the web but you should ask for a copy of their certificate of insurance. If they don't have it you'll know.
This is odd. No, you cannot find out if someone has Errors and Omissions Insurance on line. You need to go directly to them and ask for a copy of insurance. What's the rush? E&O is rarely if ever claimed against, and then there is not the urgent rush you claim. What is really going on here? Rhetorical.
You should be able to get their company and policy number, then call the issuing company and verify the information including whether or not it is in-force.
