Does anyone know what happened to Executive Life Insurance policy holders after the insolvency in 1991?

I have done some research and have yet to find concrete information about whether or not these people have gotten any of the settlement or if they are still waiting to be reimbursed.

Answer:
They got offers
they were offered something like 40 % in the beginning and then through the years it is my understanding that they were all made whole again.
it was purchased i believe by a french company that recently was in the news again ...
i had a friend that was getting an immediate annuity and his annuity payments were sharply reduced for a long time, but then they were increased back to the proper level and then ultimately got all of his money, even the amount shorted ..
It likely best to contact the state Department of Insurance within the state the policy was purchased.

I don't know about every company's case, but each DOI handles the insolvency issues of domestic insurors
