Lost my home insurance policy?

Is there anyway I can find out who I have my house and contents insurance with as I cannot remember who I am with as I cannot remember or find any policies. I am in the U.K. and would greatly appreciate some advice.

If you pay by direct debit ask your back to tell you who the payment is going to. If you made a one off payment find the date from your statements and ask the bank to tell you who the payment went to.
Call your agent. If you can't remember who your agent is, go through your cancelled checks, and see who you paid. You have to pay this every year, so it shouldn't be too hard!
