Does anyone know if a 16 year old who's married can get on medicaid?
Answer:
You should go after child support. But try Medicaid, can't hurt.
How about finish school and get a job?
I know for certain, that if you do not apply, the answer is always no.
Why should we have to pay for your medical with tax dollars? If you made children, take some responsibility and provide for them. Make the bastard who knocked you up pay; not me.
Ajgier--give her a break. She is only 16. Young people make mistakes sometimes and get into bad situations--but she is standing by her son and trying to provide for him the best that she can. And if she enrolls in job training programs to better her future--then she won't be a burden to your taxes for the rest of her life.
Do you think it would be better for this little baby to suffer and be sick?
And as for the father, he is probably very young too. What kind of jobs did you have when you were 16?
How'd I guess that you lived in Alabama, or Mississippi, or Arkansas, or some fucked up state like that.
Sixteen years old, knocked up, and working on your first divorce. (notice I said 'first') Nice. So much for that Red State morality. Either your parents must be dead, or they didn't notice you slipping out of the trailer park cause they were passed out. Oh, I forgot, your parents are divorced, too, aren't they?
it would not be difficult .you can contact DHS in your city(you have to go in person) there is some forms about elligibility for medicaid. You will answer some questions about you and your household and also your income .after filling the forms you will receive a notice about their decision on your case in a few weeks.then you will choose your primary health provider and clinic and ..always think positive!
