What's the best way to become a public adjuster in florida?

i have a texas P&C license which i can transfer to florida and i am told if you have a p&c that you can become an adjuster. I am going to be working as a public adjuster, is there a difference in the license between the two or just the description. thanks for any help.

Answer:
I am P & C licensed too. However, in orde to transact business in the state of Florida. you need to transfer the lic and pass their exam as well ue to their state laws differ from yours.. Now, to become an aduster you need to have knowledge in evaluating and estimting damages.
Are yoou going to become a homeowners adjuster or an automobile adjuster. For homeowners you need to have knoweldge in general construction and the laws of B&P (Business and Proffesion). In Auto you definitley need to know how to write an estimate just like a body shop.
It all depends on what you would like to do. But having P & C is not sufficient you need to have an AIC designation. Meaning, Assocites In Claims because it is all connected.
It teachs you how to deal with a claim A to Z.
