Globe Life & Accident Ins. Co.?
Answers:
George's advice sounded good until he said "investment program" at the end of it. I think this asker was talking about life insurance.
Number one, most agents are not registered with the NASD to sell any type of investment. Those who are registered generally have broker-dealers that forbid their reps from even calling variable life policies "investments". George must be affiliated with a less-than strict broker-dealer.
Sounds like some Tom Hopkins voodoo sh... I'm going to my new car dealer to "invest" in a car today!
Like I said, it was good up until then. Amanda, talk to someone who's local and knows what they know. Steer clear of people who sound too slick for their own good.
Contact your Insurance agent and ask them to look up the A.M.Best rating of Globe Life. A ratings are the most favorable of course -
there are sooooo many life insurance plans out there the best advice would be to have your professional insurance agent review the details and advise you. It will cost you NOTHING for this service. He may be able to offer you something better.. Glad to see someone your age interested in starting an investment program. GO FOR IT.
dont do it
