Cost of phoning 0845, 0800, premium rate numbers etc?

I need to find out the cost of phoning the various kinds of number (in the UK). If you can supply a reliable source that would be good as I'm writing a report on the cost of phoning businesses and need to give 'evidence'.

Answer:
check this: http://www.cymru1.net/telecom/telecom-08.
they vary from phone companies andmobile companies, premium can be btween 50p to £10
well, 0800 numbers are free, surely.
0800 numbers are free from any bt landline. a little tip....
Not in answer to your question!! Most companies using 0870 and 0845 numbers also have 'normal' numbers as well. To find these unpublicised and often cheaper numbers use --'Say NO, to 0870' a website which lists these numbers. And please add any numbers that you know, if they are not listed.

I detest these numbers as I pay for 'Unlimited' calls with Telewest, but they always charge extra for 0870 and 0845 numbers, it's another UK rip-off!!
From a standard BT landline, an 0845 number is charged at local rate and an 0800 number is free. Premium rate numbers normally average 50p-£1.50 per minute, but can be much higher. Other landline operators might vary the charges for the above.

Mobile phone companies always charge differently for all types of non-geographic & premium rate calls. In addition, 0800 numbers are charged at "standard rate" on mobile phones - probably to discourage people bypassing the network by using calling cards.
premium numbers are left to the companies to fix the rates.
Try here goto save at home and click on the 0800 icon, it lists call prices and line rental prices etc.hope that helps
