How do you go about in adverstising for a new business?

We just started a new t-shirt business www.1n10designs.com how do we start advertising online?

Well the first place to advertise would be word of mouth. then in your signiture line of your email. then find places on the web that let you have a free account etc. I will tell you now, DO NOT spend lots of money on advertising rule of thumb. it does not pay off. you will lose in the end. word of mouth is the best and its free. also your local newpaper like the satuday ones. those are usually pretty cheap for a few weeks. i have had my own biz for years and it always pays off just talkingand spreading the word. you can go to vistaprint.com to and get biz cards made up they are pretty cheap. . You can always advertise free on www.Craigslist.org just look for your city.
