Answer:
any person under the age of eighteen cannot legally enter into a contract.therefore all is null and void.you've been had.
What is a definate answer? The word is definite, and it still doesn't make sense.
We can't give definite answers if you don't give a definite picture of your problem.

How old are you now? Have you talked to your parents about it? What do they say? Can't you just pay off the debt? Have you tried to find other alternative ways of getting credit?

Just because you have a black mark on your credit, even if it was caused by someone else, it doesn't mean it's the end of the world.

Start building your own credit.

PS: If you can't pay for both your car and this debt, then get rid of the car so you can pay off your urgent debts. It was your parents that committed fraud by putting your name down. You can explain what happened to the credit bureau or finance company or bank. Support your claims with documentation, and you most likely won't need to pay off that bill of your parents'. Next thing I'd do is get a steady job and keep at it for at least a year. Don't buy anything else on credit and don't borrow from anyone or anywhere. And don't lend to anyone either. Pay off all your bills each month, no rollovers. If you can do this consistently for a year, you can go back to the credit company and again show them documentation that you don't have any debts. And your credit will be upgraded.
.
I'd suggest you correspond with the creditor and ask them to correct the mistake. Perhaps you can even submit photocopies of your proof of age at the time and provide them with the name and address your parents to convince them that you are on the level. Your parents, in turn, could negotiate a repayment scheme and/or lower penalties and charges since they could argue that they've forgotten about the bill due to its 'loss.'

They should appreciate this since they would realize that they can hardly enforce collection of the original bill but would give them an opportunity to still get something out of the old debt.
