How do you have to be to cash a check?

I've been earning money online, but I'm afraid that when I recieve a check, I won't be able to cash it.

If you are of legal age and hold a valid state i.d. or driver's license and do not want to open a checking or savings account, there a check cashing places that charge a fee for cashing your check, depending on the type of check. As long as you have some type of i.d. you can cash a check.
