I have a Freind that has a problem with money, he spends to much of it. what can he do to stop spending?

he recieves his check every other friday, he ends up broke in three days of getting his check .

Answer:
Put away some of his pay cheque into a long term investment fund. and go on an allowance, pay for all the necessary things first, (rent, bills, groceries) and then allow for some play money. When the play time money is gone he has to wait till next payday before he gets any more. Cut up any credit cards that he has, they are just bad news for someone who can't get their financial sh*t together.
the moment he gets his pay, put half of it in a bank.
he should bank in the check, to avoid spending he must stay at home all the time and he should not take much money to go out.
