Has anyone heard of the FreeLottoAwards company in the UK?
Answer:
SCAM!
Read the email! How bad is the grammar? Are you supposed to respond to an email address '@yahoo'? Do you think a legit lotto would use a free email service? NO!
I get e mails from them all the time. I think it is scam so I never respond to the e mails.
It will be interesting to see what the others say.
No they don't - it doesn't exist - It is one big scam, just forget you ever got the letter
If you don't believe me just do a google search
yes i made my husband quit when i found out they were charging monthly without his consent now they wont stop pestering him with misleading emails
scammmmmmmmmm
iget emails from them all the time..think its a con
Yes. I won 1 million dollar's for a small fee of about 525 pounds, I think the scammy letter read. None less to say I will be watching this question closely as i am very interested to follow what happen's to these people.
Always ask youself the question -
"Does it sound too good to be true"
If the answer is "Yes" then leave it alone and let some greedy person with a low IQ get ripped off , if the answer is "No", then go ahead and get ripped off.
No, but I agree with the other answerers, it is a SCAM.
As there is a lot of this going on globally, either by e-mail or phone it is best to trash these, as the idea is for rogues to get hold of your personal details. I have had similar ones by post/phone from a UK address in Manchester saying I have been awarded £25000 and asked to ring an 0900 premium rate number, but did not do this initially because of the cost. Then I heard on local radio that these scams were rife so I was glad I didn't ring that number after all.
It is best to ignore same. There is no such thing as a free lunch, as the saying goes.
