Anyone know about albertsons closing 100 unprofitable stores?

I know it makes sense to close them.I just wonder how long it takes to close that many stores.

Yes they are closing unprofitable and underperforming stores according to the wall street journal . It should be done totally with in the year .

Many are renamed were renamed Food 4 Less or Ralph's. Albertsons has had a few mergers over the years. Most likely take about a year for them all to be done.
