What is the meaning of Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange. It's difference?

I need Deatils.

Thank you,
(Renu)

Answer:
They are just different names.BSE is the oldest stock exchange in India while NSE is of recent origin. Hence the index bases are of different years..therefore when the BSE index is trading at 10,000 you might see NSE trading at around 3,000.
They are stock exchanges recognized under the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act.and are governed by SEBI.
They list stocks of companies.

And BSE considers 30 top scrips for index and the number of listed companies are more. NSE is different in this regard.
one says bombay and one says national
