How much is a 1981 half dollar coin with J.F.K on it worth?

Answer:
I don't think the Kennedy half dollars are really valuable as a large number were minted. A collector outside the U.S. would likely pay a little more for one. The value would also depend on the condition of the coin. I have two of them (in cases), but I don't think I could retire if I sold them.
Sorry I can't be specific with a value.
50 cents
50 cents
.50
It's worth face value. There's very little silver in them, if any .So .50 is better than nothing.
check ebay, but I would say face value
.50
.50 fifty cents
I'm not sure. who was buried in Grant's tomb?
$0.50
It is worth .50 cents. If you had a Kennedy Half that was minted in the 60's and early 70's it would be silver. I can't remember for sure but I think it was 1973 or 1974 when the last year they minted them out of silver. You can tell by looking at the edge, if you see the layer of copper looking material it's not silver. Also silver will have more of a white coloration to it. In other words not as shiny as the ones they mint now and since they stopped using silver.
