16 year old needs advice on how to invest money earned from job..?
I mean I was planning on saving all my money I make while living with my parents and from all I save invest it in something that will make some profit. But the way people on here talk its like theres no possible way to make alot of $$$ without winning the lottery or marrying a rich person.
Maybe this is why poor people stay poor cause they just looking for an easy way out.

If I had enough spare cash I would invest in Real Estate myself. Property values in my county have sky rocketed 150% in the past three years, and they are only getting more expensive. Do some research in the area your interested in buying, contact the local property appraiser adn see what property values have been doing. Just do your homework before you spend your hard earned money.
As far as people talking about not being able to make a decent return on your investment, don't pay any attention to them. They are small minded, with no vision for the future. All they know their lifestyle and their small world, they have no idea there is a whole world at their fingertips. Just go for it, good luck.

this allows you to get into longer term investments .Go for housing 50%, ..shares(as in food stores well known types)30%
long term saving bonds (gov)10% and cash in bank 10% over thirty years you will be wealthy..cant say good luck .because its wont be luck..its what you do now that will decide you wealth in the future ..I wish you well...
