Does the Euro in one country have a different value than in another country?

For example, take a Euro from Germany, and take another from France. Can you buy the same things in those countries for the same "price"?

Answers:
The hard currency value of the euro is the same in all countries whether its Germany or France or any other European country. There could easily be a difference, though, in terms of how items are priced. This is because of various factors like :

Local Taxes
Standard of living
Cost of living
General Salary trends

And so on. These are just a few factors.
The value of the Euro is the same throughout Europe just as the value of the Dollar is the same throught the US. Prices do vary from one area to the next and one retailer to the next just as they do in the US.

Additionally, each European counrty (or state if you wish) has their own tax rates that can significantly affect prices just the same as different tax rates among US states affect prices.
I would have said the same as him ^. The main category of factors though are:
# Trade
# Health
# Education
# Jobs
# Population
# Wealth

Great answer though to the person who answered first...(I gave you a thumbs up)

And to the person who just answered before me, not ALL of Europe uses the Euro. We use GBP.
The euro would always be the same in europe but it would be less than a $
