I have a plan with cingular. I have a family plan with 500 shared minutes and unlimited nights and weekend and free mobile to mobile. Sometimes they have good deals on phones but you gotta look around for when they have deals. The prices are reasonable considering that you get to keep any minutes that you dont use which comes in handy on the months you cant keep your phone from ringing. And I hardly have any problem loosing calls. The initial fees can add up but like i said try to do it when they are having sales/deals Good Luck!
Well for all are 5 phones it cost 3 or 4 hundred dollars!

i have them - i really don't know the cost. I do know they are comparable to the other carriers as far as costs go. I have been really happy with their services - just like their commercial says - I don't have many dropped calls.
What I have come to realize is this - they don't make their money selling minutes. They make the bulk of their money with their other packages, i.e., texting, internet access, etc. If you don't accept those packages, you can keep you costs down. If you tell them that you want to block internet access on your phone altogether, they can't charge you with access randomly (we were having that problem at first).
With any carrier, be sure to check you bill thoroughly every month, they are all famous for slipping in charges that you really don't owe.
