How do you keep track of the Stock? If you have to do it for a class for 10wks?
Answer:
You'd need the symbol (abbreviation) of the company you're watching. Yahoo has tools that will track it, or even just a newspaper. Each day get the beginning and ending numbers, and write them down for each day during the ten weeks. At the end you can make a graph of some sort, or just an excel spread sheet, and see how the totals fluctuate.
get the ticker symbol. enter that symbol into yahoo, or any other search engines business page.you get the current price will will change several times a day
the best way that I used to do it when I was jsut getting my feet was to use YaHoO! fantasy portfolio. You can keep track and win prizes. Yahoo! also offers free portfolios on their finance section, as does cnbc.com if you have a msn alias.
YOU CAN GET THE NEWS PAPER THAT PRINTS THE STOCK MARKET REPORT. MOST OF THE LARGER NEWS PAPERS HAVE THE STOCK MARKET IT THEM.
Most large nespapers have actually stopped printing the stock tables. But you CAN check stocks on their websites.
