CNET and "Download.com"?

I was searching for a free CD burning software in download dot com.
When I entered "CD+bruning" in the search bar, an error ocuured, obviously that's due to my misspelling of the word "bruning".

I was wondering why I was told to try "CNET.com" for "CD bruning", but not in "download.com" .

Could you tell me if "download.com" is a subdomain under "CNET", or if they are related and owned by the same boss?

Answer:
download.com is a CNET site.
Try Snap Files.
