I have $30,000 in cash I want to send to my girlfriend in Japan.?
Answer:
FedEx.
um, your girlfriend just told me to tell you that she is moving to Austin, TX. Email me for the address to send the 30 G's! ;)
westernunion
wire it. why untraceable however?
you can safely do a wire transfer.. its reliable, safe and no one questions where or how you got the cash. Transfer bank to bank..
If you do not declare the transfer -- any transactions over $10,000 must be filed with Customs and the IRS -- you risk seizure of the funds and possibly a long prison terms for both of you as well. Transfers are not limited to just cash. Any highly liquid form of financial transaction is subject to the rules.
And we're not going to help you break the law, either.
For the information of other posters here, Western Union transfers are limited to $2,999.00 per 30 days -- it would take 11 months to send $10k by WU. Wire transfers over $10,000.00 are subject to the declaration and notification rules as well. Banks watch these very closely these days due to the potential links to terrorism or drug activity and watch closely for aggregate transactions submitted to avoid the $10k rule. Most wire transfers to and from the US go through the ACH system so the Feds know about EVERY transfer.
Hey are you one of those people who shop online for wifes?
Never send cash! Use a cashier's check. Send it insured FedEx or UPS.Wire transfer direct to her bank would probably be safest.
30,000 that is crazy to send in the mail or get covrege for 60,000 that way if you lose it you will get mouny for it.
Western Union wired
Reliably is not a problem.
Untraceable is a big problem..
Rare stamps may be a good idea.
Get courier going to Japan. For nominal price, courier will carry your girlfriend an envelope in checked bag. They don't look in checked bags. Of course, luggage handlers probably steal it if they find it. Good luck!
You better check the laws on sending that amount to ANY COUNTRY.
Japan may have their own limits on cash coming in.
Don't even think about sending cash.
Homeland Security will definitely get involved on money going out of the US.
You may consider small amounts. Certainly well under $10,000.00.
I hope it's legal money on your part, and taxes paid on it. That could be trouble, big time.
Hope this isn't an on-line romance. Geeeezzz!
An international bank wire is a good option. You would be best to send several bank wires to remain below the radar.
TT from bank or using international money order from post office.
But don't send that huge amout of money.
That kind of girlfriend who request you to send money is NOT normal Japanese, unless you 2 are getting married.
That types of person is strange for Japanese sense.
Did you meet her in person? is she really Japanese?
Maybe not.
