What will the Chrysler buyout mean to shareholders?
Answers:
you own Chrysler stock?
Chrysler has been sold at a fire sale price (a fraction of what Damlier Benz paid originally) because Chrysler makes mediocre cars with nice styling. Until Chrysler starts making cars that actually compete with the best from Honda, Mazda, Toyota, etc, shareholders of that stock (in the longrun) are going to lose money. Damlier Benz stock will likely rise in the long run, because they have dumped a losing business unit.
