It isn't true...typically they would have asked u to reply to the e-mail or click on a link to a website. Doing either of these will only lead to sacrificing your personal information, which, is not a good idea. So trust me...don't reply to that mail.
that is right it is not true. be careful about the Nigerian scam and please read about this articles. 419 scam.
