I am looking for the IPO growth in India. Also I am doing a research on National Stock Exchange's contribution to Indian markets and the investor confidence levels in India. Also I would like to know about the most successful IPos. Which exchange is the first to offer online bidding with respect to IPO. please help.

My best advice would be to head to your local university, and check out the periodicals department; They'll have microfiche copies of the Wall Street Journal, Economist and related trade publications. Those will look great on your bibliography.

Also check out government websites. Our State Department keeps data that may be useful. You may need to establish some correspondence to get the info you're looking for.

Where as there are some IPO which has washed away Investors wealth they are

Regarding NSE as an analyst of stock market , NSE doesnot have a strong histroy because it has only completed say 15-17 years its better to focus on BSE which has more than 50 years of hard core histroy.
