How do you know if your lawyer is overcharging you?

He's a lawyer. Just like a doctor, mechanic, or insurance agent, it is their JOB to overcharge you.
Check with the Law Society on the fees he quoted and the scope of work he is engaged to do. Some lawyers include some unnecessary works that add up to a big bill.
If he is a Lawer he is over charging you.
Get an itemized list of what he has done for you. Find out what he bills per hour or service.
Look in the mirror and see if you have a big wrapper wrapped around your head that says "sucker" on it

first of all i know your lawyer will go over charging you and next every one who is in your contact will also give u harm b adly as per lawyer concern its judjement that what you tell him or convey him he will be go reverse and will treat some help less
ask him straight out, and if he does'nt give you an honest answer(?) get another lawyer... there's a lot of them!!
DO NOT trust him!! That would be a huge mistake. Check around, ask a friend or a relative for a reference. You must shop around, for your own sake. Been there, done that!
Lawyers (almost) always overcharge. Everyone I've met in the field of law is either a backstabber or a greedy money-hungry criminal. They just know their way out of things better than most,that's all.
