How do you know if what you are buying off ebay is good or not.?

I look at the ratings of the seller! I would never, for example, buy from a seller that does not have any ratings or keeps them hidden. Also, by the quality of the product description you can tell about the seller! If the description is not precise and the picture seem misleading then you can be sure that the seller is not taking it serious! Also, always e-mail the seller before bidding and ask him/her for another picture! According to correspondence, you will also get a feel!

The best thing to do is check the seller's feedback before you buy. Read the comments that other people leave. Check and see what else they are selling. Anything 98% positive and up is pretty good if they have sold a lot of items. Stay away from people with a lot of negative feedback. Ask questions. If they're legit, they'll answer.
The only guarantee is the feedback rating of the seller. Watch out for shipping and handling charges, since many make their money there, and know that Ebay is the one bidding against you, when you think you have a bargain bid.
