Cashing a check?

I got my power utility deposit check back. I dont have a account and nobody with enough money in their account to cover. Can I cash this kind of check any where? whats my options

Answer:
Many banks won't cash it when you don't have an account including the bank that wrote the check. Currency exchanges charge high fees. Give a bank a shot and if they charge a fee pay it since it will be much cheaper than a currency exchange or check cashing store
got to the bank it was written from.
Go get an account by depositing the check.
take is to a check cashing center, they usually charge 1%. Or open a free checking account anywhere and deposit it.
Yes you can cash it anywhere. Sign the back of the check and cash it at any bank branch
Look for a Check Cashing Store
sometimes the supermarket will cash it . call them
go to a check cashing place
First you do not "got a check", you have a check.

Hey, what an idea use the check to open an account. And find some associates who have more than thirty-six cents in their accounts.
Most banks located in grocery stores will cash checks for a flat fee of $2 or $3.
