I heard that you can get a website and then put adds on there and get paid for it every time someone clicks?

Is the legit, or is it a fake? Has anyone ever tried this. you get paid when the add is clicked on. how much money did you get?

Answer:
Yes, that is true. I have done this before, and I think you should trust me because I have been there and done that. But don't depend on making millions on it. You're lucky if you receive $25.00 a week. It is not the kind of deal where you would forget about your job and make this your living. I would keep your current job and do this on your spare time and make a few extra bucks. I made about .25 cents per click. But it also, depends on what site you are on. Some may pay 1 dollar per click and others a penny per click. So try to look out for the highest paying one. But within reason. Not like $1,000,000 per click or something. So anyway. Good Luck and I hope this helps!
Don't waste your time. There are companies out there that do this, but the pay scale is miserable and you need to have website that they deem acceptable to place their banner ads on. The other thing you need is a lot of traffic to the site.

The most I ever made was $30 in a month for a site that I used to run a store from and we had lots of traffic to the website, but no one really clicked on the ads
Definitely legit - both google and yahoo have pay-per-click programs for website publishers. Here is a website that has some good information if you are interested:

i'm thinkin its legit.i know someone who tries it.i'm not too sure on how much they make.
It is completely legal and legit; HOWEVER, you will have to advertise that site to get people to go to it - and it costs money to advertise. Ironic - you will be buying advertising to sell advertising (doesn't make sense to me)! You will just be a middle man - THAT'S IT.

I highly suggest that if you want to get a website - DON'T advertise other people's site, but sell something. If you are going to advertise you might as will make decent money instead of pennies.
