Gas...prices are UNREAL!!?

The only way to decrease gas prices is to use less gas. It's supply and demand. As long as we keep the demand high, the oil companies will continue to take advantage.
Goooooood Question!! I wish I knew the real answer to that but I believe if everyone stops buying gas they will have to lower the prices to get consumer buying again. but everyone can not or will not do that so we are at their mercy! My pocketbook was also raped and it's either buy enough food for two weeks or get back and forth to work in order to pay rent next week.

the american public asked for and got this situation.
we didn't demand high efficiency cars nor buy them.
we didn't demand more drilling in the 'prisitine' waters of FLA or East Coast.
we didn't allow the refinery companies to build more units in other places than huricane ally.
we didn't demand alternative energy production from solar wind tidal cow manure.
we didn't drive smart, suv s are ego replacements not safety units.
we don't slow down - 60 gets you there as fast and safer.!
we don't use public transit or feet.
we the people demanded more excuses from our poli tic ains (many blood sucking vermin) we elected.
we will eat less as the price of corn sky rockets as a feed stock for fuel not food.
think fuel is expensive wait till yu see what is going to happen to food prices.
we will become more physically capable and all those old clothes in the closet will fit again.
