Questions about ebay and paypal?
Answers:
Its a SCAM! I tried 3 times to sell a used dell laptop on ebay, the 2nd time it was a uk buyer (supposedly) and i got an email like 20 mins after the bidding ended where he said he wanted the laptop sent to nigeria for his nephew...blah blah, said he would pay additional $200 for shipping to Nigeria, I also got a fake paypal email saying the payment had been made to my account for a huge amount-make sure you dont click on the link thats provided on that fake email because when you enter your info into it, they have that info and can take your money. Anyways, i contacted paypal immediately and it turns out my paypal account never received such funds and about 30 mins later, ebay themselves canceled my sale saying it was a fraudlent buyer. So be very careful with those buyers, they sound convincing and will reply and so forth when you email them but yea.big FAKE!

Oh, god....good luck with this one. Once a "questionable" payment has been made into your account, you have been tagged. You will now have to prove that you sent the item to that location, they will launch an investigation, they will ask youfor identification including your SSN (hope you have good credit, if not they will hold your funds for 180 days pending any chargebacks). If you did send the item already, i am sorry.you have lost your money and your item. Anything to Nigeria is a scam. The dead give away is when they offer you more money just for your inconvenience. Check out the website Aboutpaypal.org it gives great insight into Paypal and there are several news organizations on them right now doing investigations into misconduct. Also they have many complaints against them in the Attorney general's office in CA, NE, and a few other state. Unfortunately, everything they do is legal because they are considered a "pass through" bank and are not governed by the FDIC. I sincerely hope you did not lose your money or your item, but I would not rely on Paypal to help you....
if this was an illegal transaction paid by an unverified address, you might lose your money..Nigerian, Indonesian transactions have too many scams. I do not take Nigerian and Indonesian transactions especially on large transactions. I am an Ebay Power seller.
