Are there any freecreditreport websites that exist that don't require a credit card?
Answer:
try http://www.e-loan.com
if they require a credit card I use an older one that I no longer have an acct with.
use annualcreditreport.com it allows to get your credit report free once per year
you are entitled to a free report once every year or anytime you have been refused credit
Yup, Jacemo is right.
Here's what you do.
Apply for a "loan" at your bank or "line of credit" something like that.
Then when they turn you down, they HAVE to tell you
the Credit Service that they used.. then THAT Credit Service
will give you one for FREE. It's the LAW!!
THEN you can find out that you CAN'T GET credit. (not because you have bad credit)
BUT because you have NOT had a credit card in th last 7 years.! IT SUCKS!
You will have to pay for the actual credit score no matter what site you go to but for just the report without the score see htpp://www.annualcreditreport.. and there's a link here that will estimate your credit score for you no account numbers neccessary http://creditwisdom.blogspot.com/2006/09.
www.annualcreditreport.com
is what you are looking for.. but bear in mind.. all it gives you is your credit report, no FICO scoring .. you have to pay extra for that.
Erroneously applying for credit to get a copy of your credit score is NOT a good idea. Every time you apply for credit, guess what? Your score goes DOWN!
A copy of your credit report w/ score will not break the bank.. usually around $15-$20 per bureau (there are 3 of them). Do a different one every 4 months. Check for mistakes, report any mistakes. This is super important.
