What is the easiest way to pull a credit report on yourself?

Is there a way you can pull a credit report on yourself, and see if you owe any debts? My husband's old bank called saying he owed them $1,000 for a loan he was given that he forgot about. I know he's terrible with money so I'm wondering if there is a way to find out what other debts are hiding without a shock like this one.

Answer:
www.annualcreditreport.com

That is the only true government site for your free reports.

Never use a non government site for the free FACT-ACT reports, they are scam sites.
Transunion.com lets you make one once a year under personal you or like your issue or got denied for a credit card that's what I do once a year it ask you some tricky questions like did open this account if you don't answer them correctly they will mail to you but if you get all of them correct you can see it online and print it. and you can get it for free
