I have a Citizens Bank ATM card. Could I use that to buy things from Ebay?
Answer:
Since it says "MasterCard" on it, it is probably considered to be a debit card. When you enter the number to purchase on-line, you would select MasterCard as the card type.
You should be able to use it at most on-line merchants, not just E-bay. Make sure, however, that you only use it on secure websites. To see if the connection is secure, there ought to be a closed padlock on the bottom right hand corner of the screen so that you know the site is secure.
I'm assuming you know not to give the card number, expiration date, and the 3 digit code on the back to anyone other than a merchant where you initiated the contact.
yes as long as you enter in the account info with paypal.
If the card is a Debit Card, not a straight ATM, then yes you can. The card must day DEBIT on the front with the Visa or MasterCard logo on the front.
get a pay pal account and put that card into paypal, its the best way to pay on ebay as its all gaunted. oh and if you get any e-mails saying to update your info from paypal they are fake, people wanting to steal your info. Keep your head on and you will be fine.
whats the number? and the expiration date? and the code on the back? and your name? and yor ssn? we'll test it for you to see if it works
Yes, the easiest way is to simply open an account with
http://www.paypal.com
eBay OWNS paypal and so it works with almost ALL eBay items, making it much simplier to buy items. All you will need to do to "verify" your PayPal account is to tell them when "two" deposits of like .02 cents have been deposited in your bank account. This will verify the account is yours and that YOU have access to it, then you can buy and sell when you want.
Good luck!
YES U CAN
ty ie to a paypal accunt - then you can
If it is a debit card you can use it on EBay. A regular ATM card would not work on EBay, unless there is an option to automatically deduct a bank account, and then you would need your acocunt information, not the ATM card. A debit card will have the Visa or MasterCard logo on the front of the card. What the card says on the back about NYCE, etc. just means that those are the ATM machines/systems which support that card. Just because it says MasterCard on the back does not mean it is a MasterCard. Again, it would have to have the logo. If this isn't the case see if they can set up an ACH, by using your banks routing number and your account number. If they only want a debit/credit card then open a checking acocunt and apply for a debit card.
I worked for citizens and you are able to use it as long as it has a mastercard logo. Please realize that it will take 1-2 days before it hits your account. Anywhere that accepts mastercard you can use it.
