****HOW DO YOU GET A CREDIT CARD?***

1st get a job somewhere
2nd--apply with capital one.they are usually good at giving credit cards

A job so you can pay the bill. Don't dig a big debt hole.
The question should be: When you turn 18, how can we stop you from getting a credit card, & putting yourself into so much debt you may never get out before your retirement.
You don't want a credit card. Use a debit card instead. If you don't have the cash, don't buy it.
If you don't have the cash, don't buy it.
If you don't have the cash, don't buy it.
If you don't have the cash, don't buy it.

And so on.
Go to a bank and get a credit application. But rememeber always be careful: credit cards are too expensive. Too many people have gone bankrupted by using them. Have 1 or 2, no more. Remember that everything you buy costs (you) more with credit. Become a CASH person. Use the card only for emergencies. Do not keep it on your wallet, it is dangerous, it makes you buy impulsevly. Get an American Express, that way you only use it when you have to.
