Is it true that if you apply for other credit cards??

It makes your credit score go down??

Answer:
Yes, it does affect your credit score. And it depends on the number of accounts that you have. Every time your credit is getting checked it takes your scores down. But remember that there are many ways of getting your score higher. For example every time you pay more than a minimum payment , or constantly paying within a due date will make positive changes on your score.
No. That is a myth. It's complicated (the system they use) but no, it does not make your score go down.
YES!
Every time you apply for any type of credit and a company runs your credit your credit score will go down.

That applies to anything you want to buy on credit, not just a credit card.
Every time that someone pulls your credit, it does bring your score down. Sounds silly since the only way to build your credit is to apply for credit cards and loans.

My advice is that don't apply for more than two cards at a time. Make good payment for at least 6 months before applying for a different line of credit.
Only initially. When you get inquiry into your credit file, your score goes down. But with prompt payment, your score will go back up over time.
you will lose some points, simply because they will do an inquiry on your credit report.
It does by a small amount, but if you have excellent credit, it does not matter.
