Where & who do I need to go to dispute items on my credit report?
Answer:
Contact each of the three credit agencies.
phone your credit card provider.
If you haven't received a free credit report in the past 12 months go to www.annualcreditreport.com and they have a place to dispute your credit reports.
If you know which credit bureau has the wrong info you can go to their website. There are 3 main credit reporting bureaus, www.transunion.com, www.equifax.com and www.experian .com.
If you have been denied credit in the past 60 days and you have the letter, required by law, it will tell you which bureau they used. Also, if it has been less than sixty days you can get a free credit report from them.
I hope this helps.

It depends which agency is holding the items you need to dispute on file but it will probably be one of the three below. You can dispute online or give them a call.
www.experian.com
www.equifax.com
www.transunion.com
After you have received your credit report, you will need to dispute the items with each of the 3 agencies.
You then have so send the creditor a letter demanding that the debt be validated.
