When Comcast cancels your service for non-payment, how many years do you have to wait.?

.until it doesn't show up in their records so you can call and get new service again without having to pay what you owe?

Answer:
It stays on there, no matter how many years., your best bet would be to just pay it off, you can make payments on it also until you get your balance paid off. Also if you get a cable box,it will make you still pay a deposit
It depends on how long it takes them to wipe their computer records and eliminate the deadbeats file. You should expect that it will take anywhere from 5 years and up. If you owe quite a bit, they will probably turn it over to a collection agency who will be after you until you or your estate pays up.
after they turn your name over to the collection agency and you don't pay them..then your information will be turned over to the credit bureaus and it'll go on your credit history..making it harder for you to get credit anywhere. you really need to resolved it.

if your are having a dispute with comcast over something try to resolve it with them like with some sort of payment first
It depends on the state you live in. Each state has a statue of limitions on collections before they send the debit to charge off. The information can be found on the web with some research.

But, it is not a positive thing to dodge debt.it will come back to bite you.

BTW.even though a debt is "charged off", it remains on your credit report for 7 yrs after that last reporting date.
You would need to pay off the balance owed. Anytime you try to sign up, the acct will pop up showing that you owe money. Just pay off a little at a time.
