What do you do with?

Annoying credit card solicitations in the mail? I send them back in their pre-stamped envelopes (after I've ripped them up, leaving my nam and address clearly visable) with a bold statement of "Take me off your mailing list!" Doesn't seem to work though. Is there a "Do Not Junk Mail" list?

Answer:
Call toll-free 1-888-5-OPTOUT (1-888-567-8688) or visit www.optoutprescreen.com
This service, run by major credit agencies, will remove you from their lists for 5 years.
Yes, Go to www.mpsonline.org.uk (mail preference service) and register. Takes a while to work, but greatly reduces amount of Junk mail. Similarly you can register for telephone preference service there to stop telephone sales calls.

save them up for awhile until you have lots of them and mail them back in a big envelope on cod, they will stop sending them to you because it will cost them more money that way
also send the prepaid envelope back to them empty, because the post office will charge them for each pre paid stamp, another way to make them pay
