Con-solidartion comps will shaft you. Banks will consider you as having filed bankruptcy next 7yrs.
don't think of it that way. what's the 1st thing you'd do if you sold the house and made profit? pay off the bills, right? so in the mean time pay the least amt of interest that you can and that way is by using the equity in the house.
