If it's physical information, shred it.

If it's information from a credit agency, though, the only way to get rid of it is to initiate a dispute. In that case, there's no fast way to get rid of it, and a very small chance that it will be got rid of. Be prepared to spend a lot of time and resources on correcting the information.

Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax are the three major credit agencies. Start with them to get rid of the information.
